Meet Nossa Familia

Join us in the Pilot House to meet the Founder and Chief Relationship Officer of Nossa Familia Coffee, UP alum Augusto Carneiro. Augusto grew up in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and spent his childhood summers on his family’s coffee farms. He moved to the U.S. after high school to attend the University of Portland, and found his passion in sharing his family’s Brazilian coffee with his new Pacific Northwest community. In 2004 he founded Nossa Familia Coffee, a local coffee roaster which is renowned for its high standards of social and environmental responsibility. Come meet Augusto, learn about his entrepreneurial journey and company’s farm-to-cup practices, and share in some free samples of Nossa Familia Coffee!
